It was COLD this morning at the beach, and unfortunately not a pretty sunrise to be had to make up for it. This was the best I could manage today.

November 19 ~ Toujours

Done before by others, but perhaps not with this twist. I'm bilingual, so thought I would try to convey that in an image.

Sorry I've been rubbish at visitng blogs, leaving comments, or taking my own photos for that matter. Been laid low this past week with a bug, so just tried to rest as much as I can. We go to Toronto in about 3 weeks' time, so I want to be as healthy as I can be!

November 11 ~ Stormy Seas

The winds have been high here in the North East lately, and I had the opportunity to head out and photograph the crashing waves this morning. It was cold down there when exposed to the gusts, but I think it was worth it.







These last two photographs are of sculptures at Sunderland Marina. They represent a cormorant taking flight.

November 7 ~ Kiwi Sunset

I love kiwi fruit. Taking photos of them then eating them is a very nice way to spend some time!

I also took a shot of yesterday's subject. The crayons were left suspended in the lemonade overnight, and I liked the residual bubbles.

November 4 ~ Grey Morning

After yesterday's lovely sunrise, I was hoping for more of the same today. What a disappointment. This is the only shot I took. I'm just not sure whether I prefer it as shot, or cropped to a portrait format.



EDIT: Ok, these have been up here for about an hour now, and upon re-examination, I think I prefer the landscape format. While the portrait format does emphasize that reflection, I feel that overall it's too cramped. The landscape version has more space.
