Although the tulips are virtually done, this one defiantly shows its beauty until the very last. I think there's something so striking about tulips even as they wilt and die; the textures of the petals reminding me of crushed velvet. Many flowers retain none of their former beauty as they die, but tulips remain defiantly beautiful.

I agree. Like roses, tulips seem to be lovely in every stage of their lives.
Tulips always amaze me, whilst some in the bunch can have almost faded others are just opening out! You certainly picked a nice colour too :o) Hope you are having a good week :o) {{HUGS}}
