It's Sunday again; another weekend almost over. We didn't have the glorious weather we hoped for, just a lot of cloud and a fairly stiff breeze. As a result, I didn't get out anywhere with the camera but instead photographed this ranunculus. I love these flowers, with their myriad layers of petals - just so intricately put together.
Chris and I have had a lovely weekend just pottering about doing all the bits and pieces that we never seem to have time for during the week. Usually I dislike all these errands, but it was strangely restful this weekend. The only low point was having to get my new passport photo taken -- ICK! I hate the fact that the Canadian government is going to charge me £50 for the privilege of having an extremely horrid photo of myself as a legal document for the next 5 years. LOL
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend, and that the week ahead treats you well. {{{HUGS}}}

Anna, what wonderful color and floral details! I really like the composition, too!
I'm awaiting the delivery of my passport with an even more awful photo of myself in it! And I have to put up with mine for 10 years!!!
Love your photo today, really great detail :o)
Hope you have a good week {{{HUGS}}} xxx
Beautiful photo. The shallow depth of field, the gentle color, the cropping, and the border all work together perfectly. Well done.
A beautiful photograph Anna. I've yet to meet anyone who likes there passport photograph...it would be better if you were allowed to at least smile in them.
This doesnt even look real Anna...love it!
So pink and fluffy!!
passport photos are just awful but then I hate ANY photos of me!!
Your flower pictures are really spectacular!
Beautiful shot. I like the black background which make the flower pop out.
Lovely photo, Anna.

I do love your flower photos they are beautiful!
Hi Anna
My passport photo is also horrid LOL. They say that if you look like you do in your passport photo then you are too sick to travel!!!
As Talj says we are stuck with ours for 10 years.
Love the flower shots. Hope all is well. I am at the hospital playing catch up on my visits as they have computers in the waiting room. Larry is having a small procedure, should be an hour or so.
((((((Hugs))))) thinking of you.
