What a lovely Saturday it's been! Chris and I just pottered around, and we assembled my brand spanking new exercise bike, which was delivered on Tuesday while I was away. I used it for the first time today, and did 15 kilometres! I'm really proud of myself. I have never been an "exercise person" before - constantly being bored with fitness DVDs and no funds for a gym membership. The roads round here aren't safe enough to go out cycling, so figured this way I can sit in front of the TV and get fitter at the same time.
Today I watched The Devil Wears Prada while I worked out, and really enjoyed myself. I'm feeling great, and am already looking forward to tomorrow's session!
My photo today is a shot of my new foot massager that I picked up in a sale while in Birmingham this week. I liked the textures and the colour of the wood, so I just stood it on its side and clicked.
{{{HUGS}}} to those who want 'em -- it's GREAT to be back!

Oh, does the foot massager work??
I watched the Devil wears Prada last week; I loved all those great outfits but was jealous of all those skinny girls :)
Good luck with the exercise routine. Why don't you get one of those exercise tickers from ticker.com and watch your kms accumulate? You could end up cycling around the UK :)
I love a nice foot massage :o) Prefer someone nice to do it though rather than a 'machine' just need to find someone LOL
Great to hear you enjoyed the excercise bike!! It's always good to do things like that when you are listening or watching something good too :o)
{{{BIG HUGS}}} back at ya! :o)
Just spent the last hour catching up with you. You're a wonder! But how come you potter while I putter?!?
My fingers are crossed for the 15th, absolutely love your entry.
You're riding your exerciser and I'm trying to climb stairs at least twice a day. HUGS back at you & Chris.
The foot massager looks a great idea and makes a great photo. A good idea of cg's....you could pin up a map and mark off how far round the UK you've got....let me know when you get to Suffolk...you can drop in for a cuppa...lol
Glad you are back Anna....
I love these new pics...esp. Selfridges and the boats. Very nice.
Happy spinning! That is what they call biking class in the States. Do they call it that here too? Not sure.
Oh, what a great idea, Anna--an exercise bike! I have a great treadmill and I have it positioned that I can watch TV while I walk.
That foot massager looks great too.
Julie's idea of one of those ticker thingies sounds good.
