I love mushrooms. They are so intricate and delicate (not to mention delicious!). Now that I've photographed them, they will make a lovely addition to breakfast.

2014 marks my return to photography after 5 years away while my two daughters were very small. Now that they are 2 and nearly 5, I have the time and energy to focus on my photography once again. As a result, I am a beginner again :) Project365 is my way of relearning and of honing my skills.

Those, well, gills? they remind me of gills. They are fascinating plants (I guess they are not plants). Beautiful detail.
