Our first morning back in the UK, and my first sunrise photograph of 2008. I had a tough time sleeping last night as my body clock kept thinking it was 5 hours earlier than it was. Don't you just love time zones?

- I am a keen amateur photographer and have a passion for seascapes, landscapes and still life images, although I will try my hand at just about anything. I enjoy viewing everyday things and seeing the potential in oft-overlooked subjects. 2014 marks my return to photography after 5 years away while my two daughters were very small. Now that they are 2 and nearly 5, I have the time and energy to focus on my photography once again. As a result, I am a beginner again :) Project365 is my way of relearning and of honing my skills.
