October 20 ~ Castlerigg

Spent the day today in the Lake District. I'd never visited before, and it truly is a landscape photographer's paradise. I can't wait to go back! This is Castlerigg Stone Circle at dawn. It meant a very early departure from Sunderland, but it was worth it. I can't wait until I get the opportunity to visit this area again.

This is one of my favourite places; i hope to be there sometime tomorrow. This is also one of the most delightful photos of it I've ever seen. Love those misty hills in the BG.
