It was a beautiful day here today, so we decided to go for a walk on the beach. This little feather was lying all by itself on the sand, away from all the pebbles and shells littering the beach. I just liked the contrasting textures and tones.

I like the title "Left Behind". Viewing this makes me think of deserted beaches and the approach of Fall, which is one of my favorite times of the year :)
