This is a seed head from one of the aquilegia plants in the garden. I love the spiky shape of them; very out-of-the-ordinary to my eye. Not much to recount today - it was my first day back at the office and there weren't enough hours in the day to get all my work done. That's a good thing though; the time really does fly!
How strange, I was going to put a similar photo on my bee's eye view blog; great minds!...my photo's not so great though so may to have a rethink. Glad your day went quickly. Rx
I am a keen amateur photographer and have a passion for seascapes, landscapes and still life images, although I will try my hand at just about anything. I enjoy viewing everyday things and seeing the potential in oft-overlooked subjects. I am a lover of colour, shape and form, try to see things in a manner slightly different from the norm, and put my own slant on them. I continually strive to be creative and original in my work.
2014 marks my return to photography after 5 years away while my two daughters were very small. Now that they are 2 and nearly 5, I have the time and energy to focus on my photography once again. As a result, I am a beginner again :) Project365 is my way of relearning and of honing my skills.
Thank you for taking the time to visit; I hope you enjoy what you see.
