Or at least MY take on things! I struggled for about 90 minutes on getting this photo the way I envisaged it, and even now I'm not entirely sure I like it. Oh well, guess this is how I learn!

I think that is brilliant Anna, possibly a wee bit bright but there again it would be if it were real snow the light was bouncing off. Your ideas and wit are infectious and inspiring, they make me want to come back each day to see what you have gotten up to next.
Hi Anna sorry I have been so scarce. Thanks for all your visits, even if I dont post you are always in my thoughts.
Love the aubergine penguins. We also called those egg plants. Lovely peeled, sliced thin, salted, left to sweat for a half hour or so, lightly floured and fried. Yummy, but cute penguins too LOL
I am a keen amateur photographer and have a passion for seascapes, landscapes and still life images, although I will try my hand at just about anything. I enjoy viewing everyday things and seeing the potential in oft-overlooked subjects. I am a lover of colour, shape and form, try to see things in a manner slightly different from the norm, and put my own slant on them. I continually strive to be creative and original in my work.
2014 marks my return to photography after 5 years away while my two daughters were very small. Now that they are 2 and nearly 5, I have the time and energy to focus on my photography once again. As a result, I am a beginner again :) Project365 is my way of relearning and of honing my skills.
Thank you for taking the time to visit; I hope you enjoy what you see.
