January 23 ~ Underside

I have a bunch of daffodils that have just opened. I wanted a shot of one for today's photo, but something a little different. Here we are then, the underside.

We had a dusting of snow this morning, to my delight. Around 6:30am I sat here at the computer and watched out the window as the flakes fell. I was hoping and hoping it would continue, but after the slightest bit stuck on the ground, the sun came out. No snow photos for me today..... drat!

Study day today went well - I think it's sticking in there, all this stuff they're flinging my way to learn. Shame I have to turn up at the branch tomorrow for work! Oh well, off again Thursday for another study day.

I like the unusual perspective Anna, nice color and the black background makes it really vivid.

Sorry you didnt get snow, I love the snow as long as the temps stay in the 20s or lower 30s F. Any colder than that and wind and I am not so crazy about it. Hopefully you will get some soon even if it is brief.

I like the different perspective, too. There is almost a sense of movement portrayed here.

I would still like to arrange to send you some of our snow. We may get more soon. It is -1C now, but the temperatures will be frigid again soon!

Found your site via EPZ. Some great photos - love the lighthouse shot. I'm trying to do a PAD this year after reading an article on the web somewhere about it. I don't know if I've got the staying power for a whole year so my first target is a photo a day for January! It's quite challenging isn't it - I'm finding it really hard to find things to photograph, especially as it's dark when I get home from work. I seem to keep taking photos of food!! Good luck with yours :-)
