Feeling a bit devoid of inspiration today, so thought I would give today's photo a title that made the image seem a bit more interesting than it actually is.

May 27 ~ More Processing
Sometimes I go out on a shoot and don't get around to looking through all the RAW files; they just sit on my hard drive and wait for a day when I do have time to look at them and process them. I'm glad I keep them all, and don't delete the ones that one first glance don't look "right" to me. This is one of the files that if I was a deleter may have gone to the big recycle bin in the sky before I processed it:

May 26 ~ Processing
Today's been a day for processing images from past shoots that I've not gotten round to yet. Some dated from early February! I really need to get on top of things, especially if sales are on the agenda this year. The ones from February were particularly worth it though - I love photographing things in lemonade!

May 24 ~ Fragility
Quiet day today to start the long weekend. Spent the morning at work, then down to the beach with C for a walk (and to play some pinball in the arcade, of course!). I was having a lovely and lazy afternoon, so decided to take the light tent out into the back garden for a little while for a bit of an experiment. Did it work? Unsure. Do I like the shots? Yes.

May 22 ~ Another Night
May 21 ~ By Night
Met with A, A and H for a lovely meal at a local Italian restaurant - great food, great company, and great laughs. After that, we headed to St. Mary's for some night shots (well, we WERE right along the road from it - would have been rude not to!). I've never taken night shots there before, so am happy to say I have two out of the 10 or so I took that I'm rather pleased with.

May 12 ~ Tea Lights
A departure from my recent stuff. This is a bit more back to my comfort zone. I've been enjoying my adventures in photography a great deal lately, and believe it or not I found it difficult to return to the comfort zone. Didn't feel quite so comfortable - so I guess my photographic adventures are working!
May 10 ~ Intensity
Travelled down to Thirsk with members of Enjoying Photography for a day photographing birds of prey at Ben Potter's Bird of Prey Centre. What a fantastic day it was!
May 9 ~ Quayside by Night
A. and I headed down to Newcastle's Quayside for some night shots. Had hoped to have more folks with us so we could have more of a roam - safety in numbers and all that - but due to the following day's outing to Thirsk for the birds of prey shoot, we were the only two brave (stupid?) enough to go out.

May 5 ~ Reading Room
Headed to Alnwick today with A for our first shoot at Barter Books. What a fabulous place; a bookworm's treasure trove. It's a virtual Aladdin's Cave, full of volumes upon volumes of books on all manners of subjects. It's a place where visitors are encouraged to pick up a book, curl up in front of the coal fire, and have a good old read. Heaven. Have a look at their website. The first shot is the main reading room, and the second is looking up from my vantage point flat on the floor in the children's area.
